Still no Electricity!

I don't believe it. It has been almost over 3 weeks since I applied for electrical connections to my new apartment and still no electricity. Grrr. I have this irresistible urge to wring my real estate agent's neck if I happen to meet her. I just hope she stays clear of me at least until there's power at my apartment unit for her health's sake. She volunteered to process the necessary permits (for a fee of course) and told me to expect the power company to install the meter in 1 to 2 weeks. Grrr.

Right now I'm at a nicely air-conditioned pizza chain, slowly nibbling at my last slice of pizza and sipping bottomless diet cola. Every 5 minutes or so, a service crew is dutifully checking on me if my glass needs refilling. Ah, I can actually do this the whole day :D it's not my fault that they are advertising unlimited refills. I wonder if I can stay here until the late afternoon. Hehe. I would just need to go to the restroom once in a while and read my book sipping soda all day.

I have already arranged all the stuff we brought in from our previous apartment to my brother's apartment last week. I created a large enough clearing at one side of the room amidst all the boxes and other furniture and assembled my brother's bed. It's livable I suppose while I wait for the repairs of my apartment to be finished - that is if only there was power. At least there's already water so I can take a shower and brush my teeth and all that.
