Intruders!
Last weekend, I finally got the keys to the new apartments (after submiting all requirements for the ATM - Authority to move-in). For some reason everytime I ask to look at my brother's unit, they always can't find the key so they have to replace it again and again. The door looks a bit worn probably because they kept on replacing the deadbolt. I entered the lock apartment and the first thing that i noticed is that the emergency exit on the steel grills was open. After looking around for a while to make sure that they have done all the repairs I requested, I checked the bathroom. And to my surprise, there were 2 people there hunched over the bowl doing something (I can't really be sure what) with a candle in the middle. They looked up and I quickly said "Ooops sorry I didn't know there's somebody here. I just got the keys from the office" and I got out to the other apartment and waited for about 3 minutes. OK "surprised" is too mild, I admit that they scared the hell out of me. When I got back, the room was empty once again with no trace of the 2 men or whatever they were doing. I suspected they were doing drugs or something. The apartment being on the 2nd floor and with the windows facing at the back of the compound makes it prone to theft. I even suspect that the flattened cardboard boxes lying in the floor were used as sleeping mats. I finished the requirements for this apartment earlier so the water and electricity utilities were already functional. First thing I'm going to do is to buy a nice sturdy padlock for that grill.
